I recently had the pleasure of attending one of Edward Tufte’s courses on presenting data and information in Chicago. E.T. has been called the "The Leonardo da Vinci of data" by the New York Times. If you want to avoid the tedious nonsense of PowerPoint chartjunk, check out his site.

I share something of an affliction with a fellow fan of the Pink Floyd in England named Sad Ken. This affliction is the desire to photograph places of historical context to Pink Floyd. Mind you, neither of us has any desire to be paparazzi and photograph people - just the the places those people have been.
